Iran Electronic Board Company has had close cooperation and communication with leading industrial universities in the country, including Tehran University, Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, Tarbiat Modares University, and Isfahan University of Technology, in the field of implementing research projects at the doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s levels, as well as industrial visits. The most important areas of cooperation include:

1. Establishing a pilot line and a complete electroplating laboratory at the Chemical Engineering Faculty of Sharif University and holding electroplating training courses there.

2. Supplying raw materials and electroplating equipment for research activities in prominent universities of the country.

3. Collaborating on university projects such as:

   – Electroplating of lead-cobalt alloys to replace hexavalent chromium capacity.

   – Thick nickel plating on cast iron and superalloys.

   – Nickel-alumina composite electroplating.

   – Micro-porous nickel electroplating to enhance corrosion resistance of multi-layer nickel coatings.

   – Effect of metallic and non-metallic impurities on chrome and acid copper electroplating solutions.

   – Nickel-phosphorus electroless plating with SiC particles.
