Electrophortic Lakote Lacquer

Electrophortic Lakote Lacquer:

Iran Electronic Board Company, as the exclusive representative of EPP Turkey in Iran, offers various types of electrophoretic and immersion lacquer for various applications. EPP is one of the oldest and most reputable manufacturers of these products in Turkey, holding over 70% of the Turkish market share. The available products include:

1- LakoteUltra :

The process based on polyurethane resin provides excellent properties, achieving hardness tests up to +5H and adhesive tests (ASTM standard) up to 1000 double rubs. The corrosion resistance of the resulting coating, depending on the type of base metal and the conditions of underlying layer application, can reach up to 500 hours in salt spray tests.

2- Lakote LC :

This product is based on Poly Acrylic and does not differ significantly in properties such as hardness and corrosion resistance from coatings obtained from polyurethane-based lacquer solutions. However, it possesses unique features such as a low baking temperature (suitable for zinc and aluminum parts) and the capability of post-dye coloring processes (outside the original lacquer solution) through immersion. Due to its non-settling property, this process is suitable for use in matte lacquer systems containing matting agent. Moreover, various spectrum of color pigments can be used in this process as in-dye (inside the solution).

Matt Lacquer :

This process is achievable using LC lacquer concentrate and adding a matting agent. Notably, its features include non-settling of the lacquer and the absence of the need for conical tanks with specific geometrical shapes. A diverse spectrum of color pigments can be used in this process, both as indye and as postdye.

Types of Indye and Postdye Colors :

Pigment colorants in the form of Indye (added directly to the solution) are usable in ultra and LC lacquer processes. Additionally, in the LC lacquer process, besides the Indye colors directly added to the lacquer solution, a wide range of color pigments can be applied as Postdye (outside the solution) through immersion. The diverse primary color spectrum includes yellow, green, blue, and red, along with a broad range of composite colors such as rose gold, gold, bronze, brown, smoky, orange, red, blue, green, and more.

Black Nickel Plating :

The black nickel plating process by EPP contains a single-component salt, and its solution is alkaline, making its control straightforward and resulting solution alkaline. The resulting color, along with the final lacquer, creates a unique beauty on various components. Features of this process include its applicability at room temperature and the absence of a nickel anode requirement. Stainless steel is the material used for the anodes in this process.

Ultra-filter specifically for electro lacquer :

It features American membranes and a stainless steel casing on the chassis with a magnetic pump. If desired, a PP dissolution and washing tank can also be installed on it.

4- Cartridge filter :

Cartridge filter for … with 1, 5, 10 micron mesh sizes

5- PP tank specifically for electro lacquer :

Suitable for implementing the electro lacquer process, including the main tank, permeat, overflow, with outlet valves, and a 5-year warranty.

6- Rectifier specifically for electro lacquer :

A Turkish product, programmable, suitable for various electro lacquer processes

7- Brass plating process :

This process is a product of EPP company and contains a single-component salt, which makes it easy for operators to work with. Control and solution charging are easily achievable with a boom. The coating growth rate in this process is very high, and with slight changes in temperature, pH, and flow, a wide range of yellow and gold colors can be obtained. By employing complementary processes such as blackening and electro lacquer coatings, a wide spectrum of (antique) colors can also be achieved.
