Automation in electroplating

Since 1966, PAL company has pioneered the design and manufacturing of fully automatic electroplating lines. With over 500 experts and specialists in 36 countries, PAL has installed approximately 1700 highly modern lines. Their average monthly production volume of 10 automatic lines with exceptionally high quality and reasonable prices has positioned them as the largest and most reputable manufacturer in the world.

Schlötter Germany is also one of the pioneers in manufacturing such lines worldwide. They installed their first automatic line in 1932 at the WMF company in Germany.

Establishing fully automatic production lines

Iran Board Electronic, in collaboration with PAL (Hong Kong), KAMTRESS (India), and Schlötter (Germany), undertakes the establishment of various fully automatic electroplating lines. It’s worth mentioning that PAL has been designing and manufacturing various fully automatic lines since 1996 and has now installed about 1700 highly modern lines in 36 countries worldwide, employing over 500 specialists and experts. The speed in construction (averaging the launch of 10 lines per month), extremely high quality, and reasonable prices have made PAL recognized as the largest and most reputable manufacturer of fully automatic lines globally. Additionally, Schlotter Germany, which built its first automatic line in 1932 for WMF Germany, is remembered as one of the pioneers in manufacturing such lines.

Currently, in addition to its extensive activities, for the first time in the world, the company offers plating optimization solution to its customers. This software provides a simulation of the plating process and offers proper and suitable designs for the shape of jigs, the distance between anode and cathode, and the arrangement of parts in the jig, auxiliary anodes, etc. This ensures the proper distribution of current to achieve the best quality, offering the following advantages:

  1. Rapid and accurate design without trial and error.
  2. Reduction in consumption of plating metal.
  3. Reduction in electricity consumption.
  4. Standardization of plating coverage.

Iran Board Electronic, in collaboration with PAL, Kamtress (a key partner of PAL), and Schlötter, is ready to offer proposals from these companies for optimization and automation in all plating processes.

It’s worth mentioning that these lines are recommended for cases where the production volume is very high.

Installation Up Semi-automatic Lines

When plating parts with specific requirements, the design team opts for semi-automatic plating lines. These lines are suitable for parts characterized by complex geometries, high production costs, low production volumes, and the necessity for engineering coatings. The setup costs for these lines are significantly lower compared to fully automatic lines.

Installation of Manual Lines

Iran Electronic Board Company is one of the active companies in launching various manual plating lines, having launched numerous lines in the field of general plating such as nickel, chromium, copper, lead, galvanized, alloyed galvanized, and silver. These lines boast very high production efficiency and are equipped with infrastructure systems in line with current world standards.
