Pre-treatment Processes: Degreasing and Deoxidizing

Iran Board Electronics Company offers a wide range of products for degreasing through immersion, spraying, and electrical methods, as well as deoxidizing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Specialized and unique processes have also been developed for stripping coatings from parts.

The standout features of these processes are their high efficiency and their non-damaging effect on the base metal.

-AK 531 Iron-Based Hot Dip Degreasing

An alkaline process for removing oil and grease from the surface of iron or steel parts. The solution concentration is typically 30-40 grams per liter, providing excellent degreasing power and cost-effectiveness.

– AK 551, 551-1, 561 Non-Iron Hot Dip Degreasing

A water repellent or water friendly series for hot dip degreasing of non-iron metals. It utilizes a very low alkalinity level for cleaning brass parts, pressure die-cast alloys (dry lead), and non-corroded aluminum parts via immersion, spray, or ultrasonic methods. Hydrophobic degreasing agents with a pH of 8.5 are available for polished brass parts.

– EL 311, EL 411 Electric Degreasing of Iron and Non-Iron Metals

Electric degreasing processes for removing residual grease or contamination left from hot dip degreasing on the surface of iron (steel) and non-iron metals such as brass and dry lead, using either anodic, cathodic, or both methods. EL 411 is recommended for iron parts and EL 311 for non-iron metals.

-S 40 Copper Activator

An acidic activator for copper coating without complexing agents, used to remove the remaining layer of copper-tin diffusion on the surface of copper after stripping the tin or tin-lead alloy by stripping solutions.

-Types of Pickling Solutions

There are various additives for pickling metal based on sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, which remove oxide layers, scales, and rust from the surfaces of parts without damaging the base metal.

SLOTOCLEAN BZ 50 Pickling Solution

SLOTOCLEAN BZ 50 is based on sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid and is used for removing thick oxide layers and tough scales (severe rust) from the surface of parts. It also provides good results in removing oil, paint, and other rust residues. The combination of surfactants enables complete removal of oil and grease residues, and the acid accelerates the cleaning process.

BEF30 Pickling Solution

SLOTOCLEAN BEF 30 is a pickling solution containing a mixture of corrosion inhibitors and surface cleaners based on sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid. It removes oxide layers, scales, and rust from the surface of parts without causing damage to the base metal. This solution also has the ability to remove traces of oil and grease from part surfaces.

BEF 30 solution does not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates and is free from AOX (Adsorbable Organic Halides).

-Stripping Solutions (Coating Strippers)

These solutions are based on alkaline or acidic materials and are used to remove metal coatings such as bright and matte nickel, copper, silver, zinc, and tin from steel surfaces.

-CNF10 Aluminum Zincate Solution

The aluminum zincating process is used to create a thin, compact, and adhesive coating on aluminum and aluminum alloys prior to electroless plating or electroplating. After applying the aluminum zincate coating, subsequent coatings can be easily applied to the parts.

This solution is cyanide-free and provides excellent adhesion for electroplated coatings. Additionally, a special alloy zincate is available for situations where a one-step zincating process is required.
